Community partnerships are an integral part of The Humanitarian Way as we work to prevent homelessness in Springfield, Missouri.
The Humanitarian Way will depend on the support of several partner agencies. Each partner specializes in community-engagement activities that provide strength-based housing solutions and critical-intervention processes. Most importantly, they all believe in the mission of The Humanitarian Way as well as joining us in that mission to improve the lives of those with housing insecurities in Springfield, Missouri.

One Door
Our premier-community partner for the shelter-diversion process is located in Springfield, Missouri. One Door provides a central point of contact for those needing help during initial consulting, while navigating the client-intake process, and assessing and referring housing and shelter services to The Humanitarian Way. One Door serves those who are homeless or at immediate risk of becoming homeless in Greene, Christian, and Webster counties in Missouri.
Community Partnership of the Ozarks
Provides multiple initiatives tailored to help prevent homelessness and housing instability. They share the belief of The Humanitarian Way that building strong resources and helping our community’s residents bring about progressive and lasting change.
O'Reilly Center For Hope
Serves as the headquarters for The Humanitarian Way, bringing together multiple agencies that offer affordable housing solutions and opportunities to create financial stability in the lives of those most at risk of homelessness. Having one centralized location reduces transportation issues and other access barriers people might face when applying for assistance from The Humanitarian Way.
